We asked Lea County to come together on the 28th and wear purple and orange in support of Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention.
We had a great contribution from the community including the Sheriffs Office, United Way of Lea County, Children Youth & Family Department, Lea County Center for the Arts, Teen Court, and Salvation Army.

Domestic violence is a pattern of behavior which establishes power and control over another person through fear and intimidation, often including the threat of violence. Not all domestic violence is physical. It can also be emotional abuse, psychological intimidation, threats, verbal abuse, stalking, isolation, and/or economic control.
